Do Not Sell/Share My Info

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state privacy laws across the United States, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Central Lense Inc. respects and upholds these rights.

Your Right to Opt Out

Under the CCPA, CPRA, and similar comprehensive privacy laws enacted across a growing number of U.S. states, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. For purposes of this page:
  • "Sale" means exchanging personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this includes any transfer of personal information to a third party for consideration, whether monetary or otherwise.
  • "Sharing" under the CPRA means making personal information available to a third party for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not monetary consideration is exchanged. This broad definition may encompass certain analytics and advertising technologies that transmit user data to third parties.
Central Lense Inc. ("Central Lense," "we," "us," or "our") respects your right to opt out and is committed to providing you with clear and accessible mechanisms to exercise that right. This page explains our data practices as they relate to the sale and sharing of personal information and describes how you can submit an opt-out request.

Our Data Practices

Central Lense Inc. does not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. We do not exchange your data with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third parties in return for payment. However, we use analytics technologies on our website, specifically Google Analytics (GA4), to understand how visitors interact with our site, measure website performance, and improve our services. Under the CPRA's broad definition of "sharing," the use of Google Analytics may constitute "sharing" of personal information because these analytics technologies may enable cross-context behavioral advertising by transmitting certain user data (such as IP address, browsing behavior, and device information) to Google LLC. We have implemented a cookie consent banner on our website that allows you to opt out of these analytics technologies before they are activated. Analytics cookies are not loaded unless you provide affirmative consent through the consent banner. If you decline analytics cookies or if your browser transmits a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Google Analytics will not be activated on your session. For a complete description of our data collection and processing practices, please review our Privacy Policy. For details on the specific cookies used on our website, please review our Cookie Policy.

In accordance with the CCPA, the following describes the categories of personal information Central Lense Inc. has collected in the preceding twelve (12) months, mapped to the statutory categories:
  • Identifiers: Full name, email address, phone number, mobile telephone number, IP address, and device identifiers. Sources: Contact forms, quote request forms, support text messaging enrollment, and automatic collection through website technologies.
  • Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: Browsing history on our website, page views, search queries, referral URLs, user interactions and events, session duration, browser type and version, and operating system. Sources: Google Analytics (GA4) and server logs, collected only with your consent where required.
  • Commercial Information: Products or services of interest (such as Microsoft 365 licensing), quote request details, product quantity estimates, and marketplace cart contents. Sources: Quote request forms and the Shopify Storefront API powering our Microsoft 365 marketplace.
  • Geolocation Data: Approximate geographic location (city or region level) derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise geolocation data. Sources: Google Analytics (GA4), collected only with your consent where required.
  • Audio, Electronic, Visual, or Similar Information: The content of text messages exchanged with our support engineers, together with associated consent and opt-out records. Sources: Our support text messaging program.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, including Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, biometric data, genetic data, or health information through our website.

Categories of Personal Information Sold or Shared

Sale of Personal Information: In the preceding twelve (12) months, Central Lense Inc. has not sold any personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not sell your data to data brokers, marketing companies, or any other third parties. Sharing of Personal Information: Analytics technologies on our website may constitute "sharing" of the following category of personal information with Google LLC for website analytics purposes:
  • Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: Browsing history, page views, session data, interaction events, browser type, operating system, and device information may be transmitted to Google LLC through Google Analytics (GA4). This sharing only occurs if you have provided affirmative consent via our cookie consent banner.
This sharing is limited to website analytics and performance measurement purposes. We do not share personal information with any other third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. SMS opt-in information is never sold or shared. Mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent records collected through our support text messaging program are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. They are disclosed only to the providers that deliver our text messages, and only as needed to provide the service. SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other information sharing described on this page and in our Privacy Policy. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of the sharing of your personal information through any of the following methods: (a) Cookie Consent Banner When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to manage your analytics and cookie preferences. You may decline analytics cookies to prevent Google Analytics from being activated. You may also revisit and change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer of our website. Opt-out requests submitted through the cookie consent banner take effect immediately. (b) Email Request You may submit an opt-out request by sending an email to privacy@centralense.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell/Share Request." Please include your full name and the email address associated with any previous communications with Central Lense so that we can process your request. (c) Phone Request You may submit an opt-out request by calling us at +1 (888) 245-7056. Our team will guide you through the opt-out process and confirm receipt of your request. (d) Global Privacy Control (GPC) Our website recognizes and honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser or browser extension transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request and will not activate analytics or marketing cookies for your session. No further action is required on your part. See the "Global Privacy Control" section below for additional details.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Central Lense Inc. recognizes and honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid mechanism for opting out of the sharing of personal information. GPC is a browser-level signal (defined at globalprivacycontrol.org) that communicates your privacy preferences to websites you visit. When your browser transmits a GPC signal to our website:
  • We will not activate Google Analytics or any other analytics or marketing cookies for your session.
  • We treat the GPC signal as a legally valid opt-out request under the CPRA, the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), and any other applicable state law that requires recognition of universal opt-out mechanisms.
  • No additional steps are required from you, the GPC signal is automatically detected and honored on each visit.
To enable GPC, you can install a supporting browser extension (such as Privacy Badger, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, or Brave browser's built-in settings) or use a browser that natively supports the GPC standard. For more information about GPC-compatible browsers and extensions, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.

Authorized Agent Requests

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. If you choose to use an authorized agent, the following requirements apply:
  • Written Authorization: The agent must provide a written authorization document signed by you, clearly granting the agent permission to submit a Do Not Sell/Share opt-out request on your behalf.
  • Proof of Agent Identity: The agent must provide proof of their own identity, such as a government-issued identification document.
  • Direct Verification: We may contact you directly at the email address or phone number we have on file to verify that you authorized the agent to act on your behalf and to confirm the legitimacy of the request.
Authorized agents may submit opt-out requests by emailing privacy@centralense.com with the subject line "Authorized Agent, Do Not Sell/Share Request." Please include the written authorization, proof of the agent's identity, and sufficient information for us to identify the consumer on whose behalf the request is being made. If you have a valid power of attorney under applicable state law (for example, California Probate Code sections 4121 to 4130), you may provide that documentation in lieu of the written authorization described above.

Verification Process

For opt-out requests submitted via the cookie consent banner or the GPC browser signal, no verification is required, these requests take effect immediately. For opt-out requests submitted via email or phone, we may need to verify your identity to process your request. Our verification process works as follows:
  • Information Matching: We will match the information you provide in your request (such as your name and email address) against the information we have in our records from your prior interactions with us (such as contact form submissions or quote requests).
  • Minimal Collection: We will not collect additional personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary to verify your identity and process your request.
  • Inability to Verify: If we are unable to verify your identity with reasonable certainty based on the information provided, we may deny the request. In such cases, we will explain the reason for the denial and inform you of any alternative steps you may take.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that the verification process does not create unnecessary barriers to exercising your opt-out rights while still protecting against unauthorized or fraudulent requests.

Central Lense Inc. will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights, including your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Specifically, if you exercise your opt-out rights, you will not receive:
  • Different prices or rates for our services
  • A different level or quality of services
